Ogun State Police Command Seeks Public Assistance In Locating Missing Mother And Child

The Ogun State Police Command is seeking the assistance of the general public in locating one SRC Lasisi Funmilayo Oluwamayokun, a 38-year-old female officer of the Federal Road Safety Corps, Abeokuta Unit, and her daughter, Sewa Lasisi, who have been declared missing. This information was disclosed in a statement issued by CSP Omolola Odutola, the Police Public Relations Officer of the Ogun State Police Command.
The statement revealed that a report on the missing persons was lodged at the Kemta Divisional Police Headquarters of the Command on Tuesday, 5th November 2025, by a Federal Road Safety Officer serving in Abeokuta, Ogun State, in company of the victims’ family members.
The statement further revealed that, SRC Lasisi Funmilayo Oluwamayokun and her daughter left their residence at Obasanjo Hilltop Estate, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, on Sunday morning of 2nd November 2025, and are yet to return home since then. All efforts to reach her on phone have proved abortive.
The Commissioner of Police, Ogun State Command, CP Lanre Ogunlowo, has ordered an immediate and thorough investigation to ascertain their whereabouts and ensure their safe return.
